The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday at the Forum River Center.
The caucus will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Floyd Room and will include an update on the county clerk’s office.
The regular meeting is at 6:00 p.m. in the Ballroom.
Agenda items include public hearings regarding special use permits for a farm retreat at 45 Ellis Road, a special event venue at 796 Wilkerson Road, and miniature warehouses at 5850 Calhoun Highway.
The commission is also expected to approve the purchase of a K9 for the Floyd County Police Department.
It will be paid for using a $21,000 donation from a private citizen.
There will also be an African American History Month presentation during the meeting, which is open to the public.
Everyone in attendance is asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
