The cause of a fire that completely destroyed a vacant structure in West Rome is continuing.
Firefighters were on the scene of the fire at the intersection of Burnett Ferry Road and Payne Road Sunday night into Monday morning.
The structure was the former home of the Poison Ivy pool hall, which has been closed for many years.
There were reports of homeless hanging out around the vacant building, but those reports have not been confirmed.
Again, the investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
