-Gordon County Sheriff’s Office-
Gordon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a suspicious package at a residence on Pleasant Hill Road Wednesday.
According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston:
Deputies arrived and found what appeared to be an incendiary device.
They were told that there had been a domestic problem earlier.
A bomb squad unit from Rome responded.
The device was rendered safe by the bomb squad. GCSO detectives are continuing their investigation.
