A Sunday alcohol sales referendum is set to go to before Gordon County voters this fall.
On Tuesday, the Gordon County Board of Commissioners approved a couple of resolutions by a vote of 4-1 paving the way for a vote on November 8.
If approved by voters, the county would have the authority to regulate and permit package sales by retailers of wine and malt beverages on Sundays between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
