The second annual Public Safety Expo is scheduled for this Saturday at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The public is invited to come out to see how their tax money is being invested and what local public safety has to offer in regard to services to the Rome/Floyd community.
There will be fun activities for the whole family and also recruitment opportunities for those interested in careers.
local agencies will be participating in the event with a full offering of services. These include Advent Health EMS, Atrium Health EMS, Erlanger Life Force helicopter, PAWS-Animal Control, Floyd County Emergency Management, Floyd County Police, Floyd County Prison, Floyd County Sheriff, Ga Community Supervision, Ga Forestry, Ga DNR, The Rome-Floyd Fire Department, and the Rome Police Department.
