AdventHealth Georgia mobilized to send crucial medications, supplies, and a respiratory therapist to its sister hospital AdventHealth Hendersonville, just a few hours after historic flooding ravaged Western North Carolina.
A statement from AdventHealth read:
“We are praying for our colleagues as they Extend the Healing Ministry of Christ throughout their community, and we will continue to partner with them throughout the ongoing relief efforts.”
North Carolina was hit hard by Tropical Storm Helene, with catastrophic flooding destroying hundreds of roads and bridges. A Number of homes were destroyed and many remain without power.
