Man arrested in September 16 pursuit
A 25-year-old West Rome man was arrested Monday on a felony warrant charging him with fleeing or attempting to elude.
According to the warrant:
A BMW driven by Christian Anthony Cornejo-Guzman was clocked by police going 66 in a 40-mile-per-hour zone back on September 16.
Cornejo-Guzman fled, reaching speeds of more than 20 miles an hour over the speed limit during the pursuit.
Report: Man called 911 a total of 39 times
A North Rome man is accused of harassing 911 dispatchers.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
60-year-old Steve Lorenzo Miller called 911 a total of 39 times.
He is charged with a misdemeanor count of unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
