Rome Police are investigating a reported vehicle theft on Monday.
According to an incident report:
A man told officers that someone had stolen his Dodge Charger and attempted to drive away.
However, the car ended up crashing into the concrete stairs of a Northwest Georgia Housing Authority building, breaking the handrail.
The suspect got out of the vehicle and ran.
Police attempted to locate a suspect but were unable to.
