Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr will be in Rome Monday to host the latest meeting of his Statewide Opioid Task Force.
Carr will be joined by local leaders, law enforcement officials, state agency representatives, and recovery and addiction specialists. at Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
The topic will be the “war on fentanyl” and his office’s continued efforts to combat the opioid crisis in Georgia.
Attendees will also receive updates from public, private, and non-profit partners who are working to address this issue in the region and throughout the state.
