A 22-year-old East Rome man has been arrested in connection with vehicle break-ins in the Silver Creek area back in November.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
Eric Bernard Hightower Jr. and three others entered multiple vehicles in a subdivision and took a Keltec 9mm pistol from a dually pickup truck.
He also destroyed and caused other losses of personal and valuable property.
Hightower is charged with 12 counts of entering an auto, and single counts of theft by taking, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Hightower had been listed on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List.
