The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will hold a called meeting Tuesday morning to adopt the full 2024 millage rate resolution.
This will include the Floyd County Board of Education’s rate of 17.141, a rollback from 17.70 mills in 2023.
The Floyd County government millage rate for maintenance and operations is 9.164 mills up from 8.6 mills in 2023, but still less than 2022’s rate of 9.414.
The rate for fire protection is 1.65 and solid waste is 0.656.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 8 a.m. in the Community Room, Suite 206 of the Floyd County Administration building at 12 East Fourth Avenue.
The meeting is open to the public.
