Georgia gas prices dipped another two cents compared to a week ago.
Georgians are paying an average price of $3.26 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline, which is also 12 cents less than a month ago, and 3 cents less than this time last year.
It costs drivers an average price of $48.90 to fill a 15-gallon tank of regular gasoline. Georgians are now paying approximately $2.00 less to fill up at the pump compared to a month ago.
“Slack demand, rising supply, and low crude oil prices continue to chip away at gas prices,” said Montrae Waiters, AAA-The Auto Club Group spokeswoman. “If gas demand remains weak, drivers will likely continue to see pump prices trickle downward this week.”
Local averages on Monday were $3.16 in Floyd County and Chattooga County, $3.18 in Gordon County, $3.20 in Bartow County, and $3.24 in Polk County.
