Booth Western Art Museum to honor Vietnam veterans on Mar. 29

Wednesday, February 7, 2024–9:16 a.m.

-News Release-

The Booth Western Art Museum is proud to be a partner with the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration and will host a special event honoring this generation of men and women who served in the US military. The National Commemoration was authorized by Congress in 2012, and supports partner organizations, like the Booth, to bring recognition to hometown America.

Veterans who served at any time on active duty in the US Armed Forces, regardless of location, during the period of November 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, are invited to be recognized and receive a Vietnam Veteran Lapel Pin.  A widow of any veteran meeting these parameters may also come and receive a pin on behalf of their family. All veterans are welcome to come and show appreciation to those who have laid a significant foundation for our military strength of today. The booth is committed to hosting an afternoon recognizing the service and sacrifice of these unsung patriots. Activities will include a guest speaker, a special presentation, and all-day admission to the museum. These events will take place on March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. inside the Booth Western Art Museum.

To participate as a veteran or a family member, you must register at boothmuseum.org/calendar/

This event is free for honorees and Booth members, and is included with admission for all others.
