The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent attempted armed robbery at Taylor and Son’s neighborhood store on U.S. 411 and Pine Log Road in the Rydal area.
According to the incident report:
A man went into the store and demanded money while pointing a gun at an employee.
She informed the suspect that she did not have money and called her boss, who was sitting beside her at a desk.
The suspect immediately left the area.
The interaction lasted less than one minute.
A few minutes later, Gordon County deputies located the vehicle used in the incident on Salacoa Road and verified the truck as stolen.
While searching the area, they located the clothes and the firearm used in the robbery and collected them for evidence.
