Berry College hosted a solar eclipse viewing on Saturday morning at the Sarah Hightower Regional Library.
The event was led by Berry College physics professors and viewer cards were handed out to eventgoers so that the eclipse could be viewed safely without any risk of damaging eyes.
A solar telescope operated by a Berry College student was also on hand for public viewings.
The partial solar eclipse could be seen in Northwest Georgia from 11:41 AM until 2:43 PM and reached its peak around 1:12 PM.
