A traffic stop in Gordon County has led to a large seizure of meth and synthetic cannabis.

Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston Reported that on Thursday night (September 7th) deputies on patrol on Union Grove Road stopped a suspicious sedan.

A search of the automobile’s interior resulted in the discovery of a large amount of methamphetamine as well as a large amount of synthetic cannabis, all intended for resale.

The two occupants, subsequently identified as Kevin Christopher O’Shea, age 51, of Foley, Alabama, and Travis Lester McInnes, age 48, of Loxley, Alabama, were both arrested without incident and lodged in the county jail.

Both men have been charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Synthetic (Schedule I) Cannabis, and other drug-related offenses.
