A woman who was a passenger on a motorcycle involved in a crash in Gordon County on Sunday has died.
44-year-old Kimberely Denise Worley of Sugar Valley was transported to AdventHealth Gordon Hospital with serious injuries following the wreck. She has since died from those injuries.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
A 2012 Ford F-250 was traveling east on Highway 53 and was waiting to turn left onto Fairmount Highway.
The F-250 turned left, and directly into the path of a westbound Harley Davidson.
The driver of the Harley was also seriously injured and was taken to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga by helicopter.
