Four people were shot during an altercation in Rockmart Friday.
The Polk Standard Journal reports that a man was walking on Fairview Road near Morgan Street when a Dodge Challenger pulled up.
Four men got out of the vehicle and began assaulting the pedestrian.
Then, another car arrived and three men got out to help the man being assaulted.
That’s when the men who were in the Challenger started shooting.
The people who were shot, who ranged in age from 17 to 41, were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Challenger, 21-year-old Kingston Larenz Tolbert of Cedartown, was later arrested. At last report, Polk County Police were still looking for the other three suspects, who are believed to be between the ages of 16 and 19
