The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a car crash that claimed a life of a 4-year-old in Polk County on October 12th.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, 25-year-old Luis Guzman-Baeza was driving too fast on Cave Springs Road near Kings Bridge Road when he lost control around a curve. The car spun, rolled over, and hit a tree.
His son, 4-year-old Luis Guzman-Cornejo, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. An infant that was in the vehicle was taken from the wreck to a hospital to be evaluated. Guzman-Baeza was taken to the hospital for critical injuries.
