Georgia gas prices decreased by a penny compared to a week ago.
Georgia motorists are now paying an average price of $4.13 per gallon for regular unleaded gasoline.
AAA says we can expect prices to remain elevated throughout the summer.
Last week, the governor signed an executive order to extend the temporary suspension of the state’s gas tax.
Local averages on Monday were $4.06 in Floyd County, $4.06 in Gordon County, $4.09 in Bartow County, $4.02 in Chattooga County, and $4.09 in Polk County.
