FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS
A 36-year old Rome man is accused of assaulting a woman back on April 24 at a location on Goody Road.
According to Floyd County Jail records, Charles Davon Goode struck the victim in the ear with a pistol and threatened to kill her if she didn’t leave.
He then burned the victim’s face with a lit cigarette, leaving burns on her cheek.
Goode also allegedly got into the victim’s vehicle and drove it into another vehicle, a utility trailer, and a power pole.
He is charged with aggravated assault, battery, and 2nd-degree criminal damage to property.
