On Tuesday night the City of Rome celebrated the beginning of the holiday season with their first ever drive-through ”Miracle on Braves Boulevard Saluting the Heroes of 2020” Christmas parade.
One of the oldest and largest Christmas parades in Georgia, Rome’s Christmas Parade has delighted citizens of Rome and Northwest Georgia for more than 60 years.
WRGA News spoke with Janet Byington and Jerry Rucker of the Rome Christmas Parade Committee on how this year’s parade was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and about the differences they had to make from the traditional downtown parade…
