WZQZ Radio –
(WZQZ Radio) This year’s Summerville Christmas Parade will be different due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
City officials have opted for a “reverse-parade”; meaning, the “floats” will be set up along Commerce Street and observers will drive by in their vehicles to view the “parade”.
Not only will the parade format be different, it will be held on a different day of the week. Normally, the parade is held on the first Monday in December, but this year the parade is being held on a Saturday evening. The date is December 5, 2020.
The parade will get underway at 6 PM and last until 8 PM.
WZQZ FM 99.1 will be broadcasting two hours of holiday music during the parade.
