Authorities have identified a man who drowned Sunday in Lake Allatoona.
34-year old David Kevin Gurley of Armuchee went under in the Flamingo Cove area of the lake and did not resurface just after 4 p.m.
Bartow County Fire Chief and EMA Director Dwayne Jamison said dispatch sent fireboats and DNR rangers and they successfully retrieved the body.
