Over the next several days, the Georgia Department of Public Health will be adding required reporting fields to hospital-based data to comply with recent federal reporting requirements.
As these changes are made to the systems that collect the data, there may be delays in reporting, or some inconsistencies in hospital-based data including total and daily COVID-19 hospitalizations, and hospital bed and ventilator capacity.
The DPH working diligently with their hospital partners to make the transition seamless, but they ask for the public’s patience as they update their systems to provide accurate and timely COVID data to Georgians.
