Report: Man pours bleach on woman

A 29 year old Rome Man was arrested Monday afternoon on multiple domestic charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Renwick Cortez Fain of a Dellvue Place address reportedly pushed a woman to the ground and poured bleach in her eyes and on her face.

He is charged with family violence battery and 3rd Degree cruelty to children, as his child witnessed the attack.

Stolen vehicle recovered

A 39 year old Rome man was arrested after police recovered a stolen vehicle out of Cherokee County, Alabama.

According to Floyd County Jail records, David Stephen Miller II was pulled over on Turner McCall Boulevard after he was seen driving a vehicle without a license plate.

After officers made contact with Miller, it was discovered the vehicle he was driving was stolen.

He is charged with operating a vehicle without a license plate, and Felony theft by receiving stolen property.

Man arrested after traffic stop

A 25 Year old Rome man was arrested Monday after a traffic stop.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Tomas Cruz Valdez of a Paris Drive address was being taken into custody for Probation Violation. During the arrest, officers spotted Methamphetamine in the Driver Side door handle and a methamphetamine pipe in the center console.

He is charged with two counts of Felony probation violation, Felony possession of Methamphetamine, and possession of drug related objects.

Man arrested at Pepperell Elementary School

A 40 Year old Rome man was arrested Monday on multiple Drug Charges.

According to Floyd County Jail Records, Mackenzie Cory Bowers was arrested at Pepperell Elementary School when he was found to be in possession of Methamphetamines and a Methamphetamine pipe while on school grounds.

Bowers is charged with Felony possession of Methamphetamine, Felony possession of a controlled substance on school grounds, and possession of drug related objects.
