Cartersville man arrested for cocaine possesion

A Cartersville man was arrested early Wednesday morning after a traffic stop.

According to Cartersville Police records, James Fezzia was the passenger in a car that was pulled over for failure to maintain lane. When the officer made contact with Fezzia, he gave a fake name of Todd Fezzia. The officer had prior knowledge of his true name, and detained him for giving false name.

After Fezzia was transported to the Bartow County jail, he was found to be in possesion of crack cocaine and a crack pipe.

He was charged with Felony possesion of cocaine, felony crossing guard lines with a controlled substance, possesion of drug related objects, as well as giving a false name.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has concluded their investigation into the death of an infant last year and have filed charges against the mother and her boyfriend.
