Thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes and Lottery Tickets stolen from Calhoun store

Hundreds of dollars worth of Cigarettes and Lottery tickets are missing from a convenient store located on West Line Street in Calhoun. 
 
According to the Calhoun Police, An alarm sounded at R&R Tobacco just before 3 a.m. Sunday. 
 
When police arrived a reported $600 in cash was missing as well as $3000 in Cigarettes and an undetermined amount of Lottery Tickets. 
 
It was also reported that a hammer was left at the scene. 
 
The public is invited to a Memorial Day service presented by the Exchange Club of Rome Monday morning at 11 a.m. in the Palladium Building at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
