Ranger woman airlifted to Erlanger after hitting a speed limit sign and hit and run incident
Wednesday, December 5, 2018- 7:43 a.m. 
A Ranger woman was found in her car after reportedly striking a speed limit sign on North Wall Street in Gordon County and then reportedly struck a tree. 
According to Calhoun Police, 26-year old Jessica Lynn Barrett was found in her car with the air bags deployed on South Wall Street near Oak Street with two cans of aerosol dust cleaner bottles found used. 
The officer that responded to the scene reportedly recognized Barrett’s vehicle in an accident earlier that day located on South Wall Street near Firehouse Subs. 
Barrett was taken to the Calhoun High School Softball field to wait on Life Force for a transport to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. 
Barrett has been charged with DUI, Hit and Run, and failure to maintain lane.
