Adairsville Police find stolen vehicle and suspect last weekend

On Sunday, October 28, 2018 the owners of Caliber Construction reported that their white 2000 Ford Econoline work van had been stolen from the property. The vehicle was last seen in the parking lot on Friday, October 26 at the close of business. 
 
Later in the day on Sunday, the 28th, the vehicle was located behind the Adairsville Library, unoccupied and numerous construction tools stolen from within.  During the investigation, video surveillance was obtained and a suspected was identified as Mr. Jebediah (JEB) Rogers of Adairsville.  
 
On Thursday, November 08, 2018 Detective with the Adairsville Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Rogers for the offense of felony theft by taking.  Detectives, along with the Uniform Patrol Division, located Mr. Rogers at his residence where he was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Bartow County Jail.
 
Jebediah Rogers, 36, 132 Cherry Street APT 2, Adairsville GA, in custody at the Bartow County Jail and charged with felony theft by taking.
 
The public is invited to a Memorial Day service presented by the Exchange Club of Rome Monday morning at 11 a.m. in the Palladium Building at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
