Woman charged with theft by receiving, obstruction

A 27-year old Rome woman was jailed early Friday on charges of felony theft by receiving stolen property and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Summer Dae Hamilton of a Kirton Street address was found in possession of a stolen vehicle on Martha Berry Boulevard.

She is also accused of failing to obey commands and attempting to pull away from two officers during her arrest.
