Man charged with aggravated assault, burglary

A 22-year old man from LaGrange was booked into the Floyd County Jail Wednesday on a felony warrant charging him with aggravated assault.

According to the warrant, Andre Lashun Thornton entered a residence on Hennon Drive through the back door and confronted the victims while they were in their bedroom.

He allegedly stood, facing the victims and pointed a pistol at them.

The incident occurred on October 28, according to the warrant.

Thornton is additionally charged with burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
