Carrie Underwood will once again be the voice of Sunday Night Football. NBC shared the news on Twitter writing, "Waiting all day . . . all week . . . all off season for Sunday Night w/ @carrieunderwood"
Carrie will voice the Sunday Night Football theme, "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night," in the upcoming football season as well as being featured in the show's opening video. The 2014 season kicks off on September 14th when the Seattle Seahawks take on the Green Bay Packers.
Carrie took over the Sunday Night Football theme last year after Faith Hill wrapped her stint of doing it for six seasons. Carrie told us: ["I'm so excited that I'm a part of that. I have always, always . . . I grew up on football, you know? Yes, I'm married to a hockey player but I had to learn hockey at age 26. I've known football since birth, so it's really cool to be able to be a part of that."] SOUNDCUE (:18 OC: . . . part of that.)
Carrie will perform a concert on July 4th (Friday) in Provo, Utah.
